The primary goal of the PRIZM Chamber Music Festival as articulated below is in harmony with the mission and vision of the PRIZM Ensemble.
"To cultivate and develop a love for classical music amongst young musicians, to develop young musically talented students to their full potential, and to create chamber music performance and learning opportunities for amateur musicians".
The PRIZM Chamber Music Festival achieves these goals through:
- The creation and enhancement of interaction amongst a wide and diverse spectrum of musicians through participation in a variety of chamber music groups as well as through an un-conducted chamber orchestra.
- Giving young and amateur musicians a platform to showcase and develop their talents.
- Workshops and master classes that create a direct flow of information between professional musicians, amateur musicians, and music students at varying levels of development from middle school through college.
